Biography
Warren Jones, PhD, is the Director of Research at Marcus Autism Center. Dr. Jones is also the Norman Nien Distinguished Chair in Autism and an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. In addition, he is a core faculty member at the Emory Center for Translational Social Neuroscience. Dr. Jones completed his doctorate in neuroscience at Yale University. He currently directs the Social Neuroscience Laboratory at Marcus Autism Center.
Research
Dr. Jones's research is focused on the use of eye-tracking technologies to characterize and quantify the social phenotype in autism, Asperger's Syndrome, and related conditions. The aim of Dr. Jones’s research is to better understand the perspectives and struggles of individuals with social disabilities, to quantify phenotypic variation in the manifestation of such disabilities, to improve efforts at early diagnosis, and to develop future strategies for intervention.
